The Center for Gospel and Culture (CGC) is an academic center operating under the auspices of Boyce College, the undergraduate arm of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. The mission of the CGC is to equip God’s people to engage the culture from a biblical worldview perspective.
The biblical worldview commitments of the CGC are within the conservative evangelical tradition and are defined by the confessional commitments inscribed in The Abstract of Principles and The Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
The Director of the CGC is Denny Burk, who also serves as an Professor of Biblical Studies at Boyce College. He is the author of a 2013 book on sexual ethics titled What Is the Meaning of Sex?. He writes a daily commentary on theology, politics, and culture at www.DennyBurk.com.
